River Oaks

Vice President / Dockmaster - Greg Weber
I have been a resident of River Oaks since 2014, when my wife, Julie and son, Brandon moved down from Summerville SC into unit 1503. In 2017 we purchased 2909, which is now home for Julie and I.
I have had several careers including my first as a radio disc jockey and program manager for a radio station in Iowa. I then took a position which lasted for 15 years as the 9-1-1 Director for Washington County Iowa, where I was instrumental in the planning, addressing and implementation of the county's 9-1-1 system. In 1999 my wife and 4 children moved to the warmer climate in South Carolina. I spent the next 22 years in different management roles in the automobile business, including sales, finance, and marketing.
I am now retired and enjoy spending time with my wife, 4 children, 7 grandchildren, along with great friends we have made both here in River Oaks and along our winding trail. We both enjoy boating and beaching, traveling and being in the sunshine.
Secretary - Jim Prazak
My wife Jenny and I purchased our condo (#1404) in 2021; we live with my mother who is 96 y.o. and our dog Haley. We are in the process of making River Oaks our permanent residence and have become Georgia residents.
We are both retired pharmacists who met as lab partners in pharmacy school at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
My work experience includes various positions of management in the pharmaceutical industry.  Some of these are sales management, medical and consumer call center Director and Vice President of the Bristol Myers Squibb Patient Assistance Foundation.  Under my leadership, our team served more than one million indigent patients annually with free medications valued at $550 million dollars. My skills include expertise in oral and written communications, business management and administration and strategic business planning.
As hobbies I enjoy gourmet cooking, fly fishing and playing pickleball.  I have always enjoyed being in the outdoors.  We are members of the Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church. I feel blessed to be part of this community.

For the past 30 years I have served as the City Manager and Community Manager at both medium and smaller

Director of the North Central Nebraska Planning Concil. I have extensive experience in Florida governmental
procedures and large capital improvement projects. I have extensive experience in budget preparation as well
as base budgeting methods. I have implemented supply accountability at every community I have served. I am
people oriented and a strong believer in customer service.
Board Member - Betha Pingel
I have been a resident of River Oaks since June of 2021.  My husband Mac and I along with our dog, Holly, moved here to be near family.  Since moving here, I organized many get to know your neighbors and then took a leadership role with the social committee.

I spent 36 years in banking with Wachovia Bank beginning my career as a part-time teller and completing my career as a Regional Manager in the Atlanta market.  As a Branch Manager I was called upon to spend time in branches that weren't producing or were having staffing issues looking for solutions and leading those teams to become successful.  I relocated to the Columbus, Ga. market in 2003 and lead one of the largest markets in the Southeast.  I finished the 5 years in those markets as either the #1 or # 2 leader in Georgia and won the corporate trip 3 of the 5 years in that role. I have lots of experience in finding solutions to bring people together to accomplish a common goal.
